Nexus Shearing Machine
The worlds leading capacitor start and run machine comes with standard speeds of 2800, 3200 and 3500 rpm to suit all shearing conditions. Its low starting current means that it can be either mains or generator powered,
making it ideal for use in sheds or on shearing trailers. The motor, capacitor and switch are contained inside an impact resistant moulded casing which has a pull-rope switch.
The Top-of-the-Range Nexus Sensor is fitted with an electronic current sensor, which will automatically stop the machine in the event of the handpiece hitting an obstruction in the wool, thereby avoiding lock-up.

Flexible Drives
Flexible drives connect the machine to the handpiece. The standard length is 1.8m however, 1.4m and 3m lengths are available for
specialized applications, i.e. llama/alpaca shearing and cattle clipping. They are available in three materials for the outer casing – PVC, Braided (weave) or Neoprene.

Solid Drives
This is the choice of professional shearers worldwide. With the spring at the top end and the elbow joints in the middle and at the handpiece, the drive simulates the human arm. This gives the shearer the freedom
and maneuverability required to shear sheep easily and effortlessly.
Features:
- Long elbow joints with 12 tooth cogs and oil holes for smooth running and long life.
- Improved method of manufacture means a quiet, efficient drive mechanism with lower vibration, for all day shearing.

Focus Handpiece (included with the Nexus machines)
The Focus handpiece is a double bearing handpiece with a slim barrel for comfort and a long lasting flocked grip for ease of use.
The sealed ball-bearing technology provides cool, smooth running with reduced maintenance. The strength of the comb bed assists in producing little deflection of the comb, resulting in a low degree
of tension required.
The Focus is available with pin (bayonet) or spline (worm) drive for the safety conscious professional user and can be used on either flexible or solid drives.

Beiyuan "pin drive" Handpiece
The BYH-2C Shearing handpiece is our most recent model designed for the professional Shearer.
The handpiece incorporates an innovatively designed transmission featuring 4 NSK ball bearings and an
improved lubricating system for the inner joint. These features ensure
superior mechanical movement and improved wear. The
handpiece design has been successfully granted patents in both China and Australia.
The handpiece will accommodate all commonly available shearing combs. Spare parts
and repair kits are available. Worm drive is an option, however we stock the Pin drive
All handpieces come with a triple head screwdriver and comprehensive instructions, written in English. |
