The 55B spins 8 test tubes, up to 17 x 128mm, at speeds up to 5,000 rpm. Set the 30-minute timer and variable speed control and the 55B will lock the lid and spin the load. The zero-rpm interlocking metal lid will stay locked until the rotor has come to a stop, to ensure safety.
